Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer refunds or ticket transfers/changes?

Refunds: Once you register for your event, materials are purchased for you and your partner. If you need to cancel your registration for any reason and wish to seek a refund, you must request a refund via email 2 weeks before the registered event start date. Refund requests are accepted up to 2 weeks prior to the start date of the registered Bringing Baby Home event for a $75 processing fee. If you request a refund 2 weeks prior to the start date of the registered event, you will be refunded the majority of your registration payment minus this $75 refund fee. Refunds requested within 2 weeks from the event start date are not provided. You may request a ticket change for a $75 fee. Ticket Changes: If you’re not able to make it or must cancel, you must notify me 72 hours in advance from the registered event start date. You will then be able to move your registration to another workshop/event of equal or lesser value within 1 year from the original purchase date for an additional $75 fee. Ticket changes will only be provided once per program registration.

What happens if me and/or my partner don't show?

No Shows: If you and/or your partner do not show for the scheduled event you registered to participate in, you will forfeit your registration and will not receive a refund. You are free to register for a new one, but you will need to pay the registration fee for any new workshops you join.

Does my partner need to attend?

Yes, this is for couples. Couples will participate together, privately, as you practice material together learned in the program.

Can we bring the baby?

YES! Babies are welcome. New parents, with babies and children up to 3 years old are allowed to attend. CONSIDERATIONS: If you are taking part in an intensive workshop format (2-3 day sessions), you may want to consider having someone you trust watch your baby or child/ren. Intensive formats are often too long for children to be sat in one place and will likely result in one parent having to frequently miss important parts of the workshop.

Is the material inclusive?

Yes, the Gottman Institute developed material that is inclusive for all types of couples. Parenting is parenting. The skills for becoming a healthy and successful couple are helpful for any couple. Please contact me if you have questions. Equity and inclusion are foundational in my ethics and approach with individuals, couples, and organizations.

Do we need to share anything personal with the group?

No. You will never be asked to share your personal experiences as this is focused on practicing skills privately, you will mute yourselves during these exercises.
